The Fashion Fights Poverty team would like to express its gratitude to you for supporting us in our inaugural event. Thanks to you, we raised over $6,000 for the United States Committee for the United Nations Development Program and brought to light the vital work of non-profit organizations and designers the world over.

Fighting poverty is not easy; neither is putting together a fashion event purposed with giving members of the community an opportunity to learn and support local and global projects that use fashion and design to challenge poverty and offer hope.

Like a unique and freshly produced dress by a new designer, this event had some seams and hemlines that needed to be better tailored. And like all creative endeavors, we know that our efforts can only improve with constructive feedback and advice.
